How to compare two menu quotes
This calculator accepts your own amounts for two options. For each, enter the item price, quantity and any extra fees. It multiplies the item price by the quantity, adds fees and shows which entered total is smaller and by how much.
Try to compare equivalent products: two medium pizzas with similar toppings, two complete lunch baskets, or two coffee orders of the same size. If one includes a side and one does not, add that cost before drawing a conclusion.
Keep the source context
Before using the result, check the branch, ordering channel, date and product configuration of the numbers you entered. A figure taken from dine-in may not apply to delivery. We do not store, verify or publish the quotes visitors type into this calculator.
Example: a two-person takeaway
One hypothetical basket costs £11 per person for two people plus a £2 fee, giving £24. Another basket costs £12 per person with no fee, also £24. The comparison is equal despite the different item prices. These amounts are illustrative only.

Frequently asked questions
Does this tool automatically look up menu prices?
No. It calculates with the prices and fees that you enter.
Can I compare restaurants from different towns?
You can, but the result will not measure like-for-like local availability or value unless the baskets are comparable.
Does the tool compare portions?
It compares money totals. You must check whether quantities and portions are suitable before deciding.
