Compare restaurant menus, not just price tags
Discover a practical approach to comparing UK restaurant meals, baskets, portions and fees.
Two ways to compare
Choose an overview of restaurant menus or compare two genuine price quotes you have found.
Compare Two Price Quotes
Enter quotes and compare final totals without using invented prices.
Restaurant Side-by-Side
Compare menu categories and dietary guidance between two restaurants.
The most useful comparison is a complete basket
Before you rank two options, ask whether they meet the same need. A main-only price may look cheaper than a meal that includes sides and a drink, while a family bundle can serve several diners. Compare the total food you plan to buy rather than a handful of unmatched headline figures.
Include the restaurant and channel
Use the exact branch or postcode where available, and note whether the price is for dine-in, delivery or collection. Check the final ordering fee and any special offer conditions. For an item without reliable pricing, leave the figure blank; it is more useful than a guessed number.
Keep dietary needs separate
Menu category tags do not provide enough information about allergens or cross-contact. Open the restaurant’s own product-level dietary guidance and contact the branch if there is uncertainty.
